CSSI Inc., a Prime Contractor to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DoD and NASA, is recruiting for a Senior Cost and Benefits Analyst to work with us on a long-term contract with the FAA. The Senior Cost and Benefits Analyst will be focused on analyzing investment decisions for the FAA’s Joint Resources Council (JRC). The JRC is the senior executive decision-making board for major investments supporting the National Airspace System (NAS). This board reviews and approves the technical, operational, and safety aspects of FAA investments.
Responsibilities will include: - Analyze financial data provided by the program offices prior and post Final Investment Decision.
- Analyze financial, benefits and performance data provided in Business Case Analysis Report (BCAR), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), Exhibit 300s if applicable and validate against the actual program provided financial, benefit, and performance data
- Develop and review pre- and post-implementation review plans and reports
- Analyze and explain variances in financial data
- Identify trends and drivers to support to FAA investment decision making process
- Identify early warning indicators and make recommendations to management for corrective actions
- Analyze year-to-date and annual trend analysis
- Develop presentations and workshop materials and assist in briefings and review meetings

Requirements |
 |
Required Education and Experience: - Bachelors Degree in a business related subject area such as accounting, finance, cost and schedule estimation or economics (5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree)
- Minimum of 20 years of related experience, with specific experience in cost/benefit analysis experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly desired, but not required
- Strong financial and trend analysis skills are required
- Familiarity with the FAA SPIRE system and Cost Estimation Tools and methodologies (e.g. Monte Carlo)
- Knowledge of FAA Accounting and Financial practices
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Prior experience supporting or working for the FAA is preferred, but not required
